Parents are home.. which equates to no more 2-3am late nights(cept mayb on saturday when i'm watching soccer), no more slacking in front of com the whole day watching anime(crap, since i started on bleach, i'm kinda addicted to it liao =/) and no more time to play com games openly and carefreely.. sigh.. the good times.. lol..
Juz one sch day b4 its a public holiday.. wonder what plans i have for that day.. hmm.. spiderman 3 is being shown on that day(heard its a brilliant show) and dun think i'll b able to catch it =/ owell.. some other time..

wow.. yesterday(juz 3 hrs ago) was a wonderful day. Day started with a good morning nap during pe, since i'm still slightly injured(should b BIA by next week, i hope). GP was the bomb! Zhang Rui made this funny weird sound to copy Ms. Uma that stunned the whole class b4 we erupted in laughter!! haha!! was some comment bout the caption/summaries on a certain webpage being too tiny.. hahaha.. hilarious.. Rest of the day past by rather normally..
oh! GP rechargables were going for super cheap, 4AA + 4AAA + charger = $15.90.. How much better an offer would you want?(managed to get the last pack juz after heex =P, reuben was like complaining bout how the rest of the packs were rip offs.. lol..)Last and final Chem SPA for the year, which was super easy as well.. so ended up stoning/sleeping/fidgeting/staring into the rain/squirting water/playing with chemical & GC/things that you do when u hav nothing better to do >.<
Went to library to catch Ocean's Twelve after that, since i had to wait for like 2 hrs for h3 chem to end b4 can head to VJ with OG mates. Its not a bad show at all, well, at least not as bad as the reviews were like years ago. Its good enough for another sequel, Ocean's Thirteen, to be released sometime this year. Since h3 chem wasn't exactly 2hrs long, didn't manage to complete the movie, but the last few minutes can be easily guessed.
Met up with Tiffany and Bennett in the canteen after that and took a super long time to get to parkway parade for dinner.. lol.. mostly held back by delays here n there, indecisiveness, slow to leave the bus and other weird stuff. Well, in the end we made it =) had dinner, met up with Derrick and adjourned to VJ asap since we were already late. Met Felicia at VJ and den the highlight of the day started - VJC dramanight!!! Of course, Song Jie came late -.- but guess he managed to get the rough idea of the first play...
I can say, that the scripts are pro, very pro in fact, the actors and actresses are like brilliant(and the have guts as well), the general experience was wonderful. 3 comedies and 1 more 'serious' play made up their quadruple bill(as RP is having theirs soon). The hard work of the directors can be seen through the way the people present themselves on stage etc. They even emcee their own show! haha.. how cool is that?(hope this is enough flattering for you, Phoebe =P) Sadly, Felly had to leave at the concluding stages of the third play cos her dad was there already. was supposed to catch a lift home, but decided to finish watching all four.. hehe.. Met Phoebe after the whole thing, talked a bit of crap, bout how Song Jie felt disturbed bout how one of the actresses acted a 'mad' girl so well, we were joking bout how he was going to get nightmares bout her. When Bennett took out his swiss army knife, Song Jie started walking away as fast as he could.. hahaha.. hmm.. took 1 group pic(which i hope to be able to cope soon) and we went off on our ways. Basically, all i can say is that, it was worth the ticket money AND the total of 2hrs plus bus rides to and from VJ =)
Reached home at like 12+, did some stuff, blah blah.. and now here i m, lol.. haven't actually slept since like 520 am yesterday, been awake for nearly 24 hrs and mayb i think i should go sleep now.. ;)
falling sick or already is >.<
i realised its not a good idea to wake up at 2am to watch champions league soccer when u feel like crap(no matter what time u sleep, 10pm for example). Though i had to learn it the hard way.. bah.. felt like crap the whole of today, with an irritating headache that refuses to go away and a continuously blocked nose. Maybe its juz cos i've a lack of sleep... or mayb its juz cos i'm sick(best time esp since my parents r like overseas now -.-)..
past 2 days weren't too bad, many jokes and laughs between classmates between and during lessons. Today, however, was like classic. Math lesson, it had something to do with odd numbers and even numbers and azimah came up with some odd thing dunno wad and some oddity and something that juz made the whole class laugh(wonder if the observer at the back of the class laughed as well, we'll never know..) =) Also, we met our co-civics tutor for the first time in.. like... 4 months? interesting eh? haha.. only the KI people in our class had no surprises =p the other 26(or was it 25 or 24) of us were stunned for a while.. haha
Can't wait for tmr... last and final chem SPA of the year and also going to VJ to meet up with an OG(or do i call it ex-OG) mate with 5 others.. My OG is like still alive! amazing.. its been like 1 year n 4 months(near 5).. wow.. time really flies.. owell.. time to destroy my eyes till they drop off... tmr's FRIDAY!!!
lousy day
lousy. The ONLY word to describe today.
started off with econs essay, which was equal to 45 mins of smoking rubbish onto 2.5 pages. GGXX. followed closely by bio mock SPA skill A, which was a total disaster if you asked me. Everyone was at a total loss when they looked at the qn paper, so much so we all needed hints from Chan sensei in order to even start writing the thing. Total rubbish.
School was out after another hr of chem in class which passed by rather quickly for some reason(maybe it was juz cos i was trying to finish qn 8 of my tut in order to hand it in =P). Rest of the day flew by really really quick. Following that, was supposed to study with wu lei in the library, but ended up having EDB discussion in canteen with her sitting at another table, cos the discussion dragged from 1+ to 3+, 2 whole hours.(really sorry bout that >.<, though ys was there, so mayb not so bad =p) Its like 6 now o.O bah, and i've yet to start on any work.. dead...
What can i say, i can only hope that tmr will b better than today.

end of the week
so like i said yesterday, the week flew past us without us even knowing it did. SO many things have happened during the course of this week. Unhappy times, happy times. Its been an up and down week, with the looming work that we have to do next week, i guess its time to really shift into gear and buck up.
Ponned floorball for the 2nd time in 2 weeks cos my knee still doesn't feel very good (though i did go on monday n played like crap -.-) and gonna do it again next week to go go for an OG outing to VJ for an OG mate's play =) It had better b good =p cos its gonna b a long ride home from there.. hahaa.. mayb next week isn't so bleak after all.. hmm...
Thomas was commenting on how life doesn't suck, juz that its really stressful. Well, i guess it is stressful, especially with stuff coming in continuously like day after day, week after week, non-stop =/ haiz. Sometimes i really wonder, whether we could be as carefree as the two polar bears shown below.. They look so peaceful, especially the baby one =P sigh..

Been reading bout The Google Story. Feel quite inspired by the duo who managed to set up Google to what it is now, after overcoming so many obstacles like being turned down by major firms, actually managing to spread their message without the use of any advertisements, etc. Like half way through the book now and i already feel like i admire them. Guess that's the main purpose of it..
After some thought bout the upcoming weeks, i realised that its already week 5! half the term is gone, and it feels like we haven't even started doing our term 2 stuff yet, and what more, CTs are like 9 weeks away (5 weeks considering GP), which isn't exactly a very long time especially after the past 5 weeks have flown by. Life starts to get more stressful, lectures seems to go on endlessly, work seems to be flowing in continuously, days juz pass without you knowing they did, and its the end of the week!
Time flies. We don't even know what we're aiming for now, seems like everything yet achieving nothing. Like i was telling thomas at the bus stop, the thought of the day : 'life sucks'

well.. now i'll talk bout my cartoon counterpart =) Most people i believe should have seem him aroudn b4, esp if they read the comics section of Lifestyle(as it is now called). Sherman the shark, sort of reminds me of, well, me >.< some times he's juz too lazy to do stuff. likes to loiter around doing stupid stuff, or juz plain eating n eating =p The amazing thing is that he was created in 1991, which was 2 years after me! so i wonder who inspired who =) (crap, that's like shameless -.-) well, that's how the nick slagoon came about. haha.. another amazing thing, he has a fish fren ernest, who is a comp geek, who is sort of a replica of guess who? Ernest of course.. hahaha.. mayb the cartoon has less of the girl-inclined fantasies than the real deal.. hmmmm....

free cone day =) =)
Ben and Jerry's free cone day today =) =) as most people should or would know, since the msg was passed around the sch as well as in the papers.. heh.. 3 cones in 1 hrs resulted in a happy bunch of 07S03L people. An efficient cycle ensured that they got their cones in record time, other than those who cut the queues right at where they were serving the cones, which would have taken like 30 secs.
Anyways, i was wondering why we didn't go last year =/ since its a tradition they have upheld since 1979 o.O darn it. moreover we can't get it next year cos we're stuck in camp (for the guys that is) owell.. for now, 3 cones is satisfying enough =) =) For the people who missed this great adventure, better luck next year. The choco brownie fudge rox totally =D
SYF coming up for many people around me. Chinese Dance today, guitar in 2 days and modern dance next week, etc. Only some major ccas like band, choir and chinese orchestra have their's in May, so in the mean time, those people involved, have fun practicing =P As for those with upcoming competitons, good luck for them!
Time really flies, its almost midweek now and this time next week, my parents would be off to hainan for a 4-5 day trip, so its home alone for me XD
calm before the storm
the build up to a superb EPL weekend has just begun. The first matches include that of Liverpool vs Man City and Arsenal vs Bolton. In their previous meeting, Bolton slaughtered Arsenal thanks to Anelka, can he do it again? We'll find out soon enough.
Also with the FA Cup semis coming up after that, Man U meeting Watford and Chelsea meeting Blackburn. Lets take things into perspective. Portsmouth beat Man U, Watford beat Portsmouth n therefore the OBVIOUS result is that Man U loses to watford (at least i hope so.. haha XP)
After a trying week that has been left behind, the weekend so far seems to be quite enjoyable, with just Chem tut and Math assignment to worry bout. But the prospect of CT2 looms near. It's week 5 (or issit 4) and the truth of the matter is that the next bout of tests are coming real soon =/ time to stop slacking and start studying.. sigh.. but wad more, is that this time the J1s would b joining us as well =P with their first common tests in RJ.. hehe.. How i wish i were feeling as relaxed as our junior batch now.. haiz.. owell.. they'll have their fair share of exams next year, like we're having this year..

well.. the day started juz perfect. Yiding, masterfully dropped a box of sweets being passed around by Ruth, but he made it up by buying 2 boxes of chocos instead.. haha. that got passed around too but ended at Daniel who finished the last piece -.- but nvm. that's the least of stuff that happened today.
For some reason, all the main projectors in the lecture theatres were all like not working. Think its been like that since monday or something, since lei mentioned that her math lecturer actually wrote on the OHP... TWICE! LOL.. time wasted today due to technical difficulties = nearly 45 mins.. like sheesh

Champions League fixtures : Chelsea vs Liverpool and AC Milan vs Man U
well.. at the look at the semi-final fixtures, i would say that the first match is a confirmed result of Liverpool getting into the finals, since Liverpool seems to beat them in almost every cup match, no matter whether its European or English. As for the other match, an away loss is impending for Man U once again when they visit the San Siro. Think their Italian match tally is gonna b 2/13 from 2/12 after they lost at Roma. Hopefully AC Milan can keep their cool at Old Trafford and BEAT Man U to set up a repeat final like in 2005 =)
So that's that. what a long second post.. really long winded.. haha..

wow.. wad a day it is today. seems to pass by so fast.. haiz. day started with econs, which was fun! cos ms lio finally decided to let us slack for one lesson n made us do an econs quiz -.- (though it was in the form of a 'competition-of-sorts'. but the amazing part was that azu, song jie and i managed to like guess our way to the win.. haha! we ownz =)
Next the sad part, NAPFA. failed as usual, but with an unhealthy twist. During shuttle run (2nd station only), i busted my knee. like wth lah.. injured it on monday due to some reckless dive which ended up in nothing n aggravating it today juz made it all worse. still had like everything else to finish up but well.. survived it, but stupid knee still hurts like crap now.. bah.. wonder if i should take kun man's advice n go see a doc.. hmm...
rest of the day was juz degen. GP, assembly, hw, anime. Nothing seems new here.. heh. tmr, with a GP essay looming, i juz wonder if there's any hope of making a dull day seem more interesting than it really is.
