class chalet and the end of the common tests

YAY! as every1 would noe, by now, the common tests have been over for a day (2 days for the bio people)!! Time to get a well deserved break from mugging and enjoy this long weekend that was strategically placed so that we have a long weekend this week!! Youth Day for FTW!!

The usual post-CT or major examination activity went underway right after the bio paper where we went to dhoby gauht for a lanning session, though we did waste like more than 1 hour first trying at thompson plus the time taken to travel there, but who cares?? haha.. as long as we had fun right? AFter dinner and all, we met up again online to settle some logistics for the chalet that would happen over the next 2 days, cos 0 details were done then, cept for the fact that we HAVE a chalet.. haha.. this was the biggest mass convo i've seen over the past 2 years? or mayb less (16 participants)

Next day started off 'pretty well' especially when it started to rain when we were going to book in for the chalet.. mayb we didn't like believe enuf or wad, but the rain never did let up till around 12am.. haha.. but i digress, so we basically spent the time waiting for the rain to stop by watching movies in this room that was like totally cramped with people.. First movie was 'Snakes on the plane' which was juz totally painful to like almost every part of ur body as u watch the snakes strike at the most prominant of places >.< OUCH!! I think you would need to watch the movie to really understand.. Next movie was underworld evolution which was a cool movie, cept people like hee xun and reuben kept pointing out inconsistencies in the movie, like how a person who is immortal can b killed, and why hybrids of lycans and vamps have their strengths but not their weaknesses (unlike in pokemon)... HAHA

After a while, every1 looked a but gloomy here and there, and after a few unsuccessful attempt to actually get the fire for the bbq started, few of us namely myself, yi rui, zhang rui, julia and kelvin (and whoever else i missed out) went to start the fire at around 9, and since the rain didn't seem to want to stop at all.. after taking a miserably long time (half an hour or so), we finally got the fire going strong and we managed to start cooking!!! YAY!! we felt so accomplished or at least i did.. haha.. cooking went on till 1am where as i said above it finally decided to stop raining and also cos the bbq heat was sort of spent already since we used up our bag a charcoal.. after like 3 hrs of cooking, and after u feel ur insides seem to have been bbq-ed as well, you know its time to stop.. haha..

After a nice COLD bath, and a few round of cards, went to join zhang rui(who pang sei us), amanda, huiyi and xin wei at the stone tables to juz talk crap.. it was only during this that i realised that xin wei was so easy to suan.. hahaha.. so we talked from like 2+ to 6+ while the people in the room continued to watch movie after movie.

Now, for the qn of the day... 'Does the moon set???'

haha.. so after more random topics like dreams and sleep walking, and how when u r dreaming, and you imagine u have a digital watch, u look at it and remember the time, then juz look away for like 1 sec and look back at the watch again, it'll NEVER show the same time.. haha.. interesting? too bad, you weren't there.. =p

the day sort of degenerated as once breakfast was over, almost every1 juz left.. LOL.. and of the people that left, it is possible that one of those accidentally packed kelvin's wallet into their bags and didn't know bout it.. SO, for the people that left in such a hurry, PLEASE check your bags for kelvin's wallet.. Do ur CT rep a favor and return it to him like asap..

as for now, i'll b awake for 36 hours when the clock reaches 7pm, and i'm juz totally sleepy.. yawns.. to S03lovelies, its kinda sad that the second day of the chalet sort of juz disappeared, we should have one last outing like at ecp or something to round it all off b4 we start the intensive mugging for As and prelims which is like in 2 months time... AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHH... >.<

P.S. BEFORE i forget, this is the first class outinf that daniel has actually came for voluntarily!!! *cheers for him*
