Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

Today was finally the release of the final installment of Harry Potter. I, unlike some other crazy people did not queue up overnight or whatever and juz went like 2 hrs later to collect my book when there was no queue at all.. So i started reading at 9+ am and finally ended at 7+ pm.. though i was travelling from sengkang to woodlands to sengkang again =p haha.. well.. think the book's a real good way to end the series and i personally am looking forward to the movie that would come from this book...

For those who want to read the spoilers, you can highlight the following parts to view them
-There are 7 horcruxes. Namely Hufflepuff's Cup, Gaunt's Ring, Ravenclaw's Diadum, Riddle's Diary, Slytherin's Locket, Nagini and Harry Potter

-More than 2 characters died in the process of the book. Starting with Mad-eye Moody, Rufus Scrimgeour, Dobby, Fred, Lupin, Tonks, Snape, 'Harry', Bellatrix and finally Voldemort. Other minor characters were also harmed along the way like Ted Tonks(tonk's dad), Bathilda Bagshot, Gellert Grindelwald and Gregorovitch

-King's Cross is a place and concept that is similar to that of the matrix where the dead go to death or return to the real world. It is triggered when the 3 Deathly Hallows are present at the time of death. They are the 'Elder Wand', 'Ressurection Stone' and 'Invisibility Cloak'

-Snape has had a crush on Lily Potter since he met here during childhood. Up till the time of death, his purpose was to protect Harry. He has the patronus of a doe that helped Harry find the sword of Griffindor. Also, Snape was always on dumbledore's side, even dumbledore's death was planned!!

-Xenophilius Lovegood plays a somewhat important role in telling Harry and gang the story of the Hallows

-Kreacher tells us of the story behind the fake locket and his previous master Regulus Arcturus Black aka R.A.B.

-Dumbledore didn't have a totally 'speck-free' childhood, his brother Aberfroth manages the Hog's Head and his sister Ariana had an accident that involved Dumbledore and Grindelwald that caused her to lose her mind

-Hogwarts is used as a fortress against the forces of Voldemort which was defended by professors and students alike

-Of all people, Harry and McGonagall use the Forbidden Curses Imperio and Crucio

-Harry has a similar form of a Horcrux when Voldemort uses his blood for revival back in 'The Goblet of Fire'. The effects of this had resulted in another miscalculation on Voldemort's part that eventually resulted in his downfall

-In the end, Harry marries Ginny and has 3 children, Albus Severus, Lily and James and godson Teddy Lupin. While Ron marries Hermione and has 2 children, Rose and Hugo
